What is the difference between these Behringer speakers and will they work on my Sharp HDTV?
Hi, I'm wondering if there is a difference worth $30 between these 20 watt Behringer speakers

and these 40 watt Behringer speakers

Is 40 watts a lot better than 20 watts?
Also, I want to make sure that these will work through the digital audio output port on my Sharp 42" HDTV (shown at this link)

The difference is just the internal amplifier. You may want the MS40 to get realistic volume levels for movies.
Either will work with your Sharp. Connect the digital audio output on the TV to the coaxial input on the speaker using an RCA cable.
But since the MS40 doesn't have a remote control, and the Sharp doesn't appear to have a variable audio output, you would have to adjust volume using the speaker knob, not the TV remote.
