Bridge over loose teeth (bone loss)?
I am 45 years old, my dentist just told me I have bone loss on the lower front 6 teeth, I don't remember what exactly she said but sounded like about 60% of the 6 teeth are not attached to the bone (or jaw?? or 60% of bone lose???) versus the normal case where 100% of teeth are attached to the bone. I may have not describe the problem correctly but the point is 4 out the 6 teeth are a little bit lose now. She suggested to do a bridge (lava bridge) on the 6 teeth to hold them together. She said the benefic of doing the bridge is to support the 6 teeth, also having lava bridge along the 6 teeth would prevent or slow the grow of plague which other wise be eating out more of the bone around the 6 teeth. This operation is not cheap hence I would like to find out if what she suggested make sense and if it worth the money to get this done this way or there may be other alternative to get a better result?

For such an elaborate and expensive procedure, I would recommend getting a 2nd opinion, even if you have to pay for it out of pocket.
