Why do conditions of the heart get so complicated?
Knowing that something feels so right
But circumstances get in the way.
It's so simple on the trail.
Life goes by more fluently,
Everything tends to be more real.
The rawness of wilderness connects me in a way only one other thing can.
I find that passion in both love and in the wild,
Both of which should be handled with care.
When love fails or is just out of arms length,
I turn to wilderness.
There I will always find peace and unconditional love.
