96' honda accord - opened head unit. only get sound when push down on board??
I have dissected my head unit (stock). And made sure that all proper connections are made, and narrowed it down to a loose circuit. When I apply downward pressure to the left side of the circuit board (right behind the volume knob), the sound comes on. I tried tying down the board therefore applying constant pressure, but i guess it wasnt enough. Can I unplug the head unit and try taking out the circuit board and looking for any loose ciruits?? I heard something about needing an access code once you unplug the power?? is this true, because it is very difficult working on the head unit when it is still attached to the car? can someone give me a few pointers?
