High -quality acoustic guitars below $100.???
uhmm my grandparents are at the US and they're asking me what i want them to buy. its either a set of books or a guitar. I want a guitar.. that's my final decision. I thought of Taylor guitars but wtf they cost about 2000 dollars. and we do not have that kind of money. I searched for Gibson,Ibanez, epiphone and they all cost exaggeratingly expensive... I need a high quality guitar below a hundred dollars... and i'm 15 btw..I need one ideal for country loving, pop rocking songstress like me..
Sorry, there is no such thing as a high quality or even decent quality guitar under $100. Anything that you might get in that price range will be cheap and shoddy in terms of material and workmanship, possibly just-barely OK for a beginner to start learning on, but once you develop any ability on the guitar at all, you will find its sound and playability completely unsatisfactory and want to upgrade to a better quality instrument as soon as possible. I wouldn't recommend any guitars under $100.
Ibanez and Epiphone are decent beginner level instruments for around $250. Sorry but that is about the minimum you will have to spend for a playable guitar that sounds decent.
To a great extent, you get what you pay for when you spend more for a guitar -- better quality tonewoods and hardware, better craftsmanship and construction, etc -- all of which produce superior sound and playability.
